I am working on several projects that use data on executives’ off-the-job behavior, including legal records and asset ownership. This data is provided by licensed private invesigators who verify the individual’s identity and search numerous county, state, and federal databases to collect information. The files on this page detail how the data is measured and provide sample records with names redacted. Though much of this information is publicly available, we respect the privacy rights of individuals and never publish the legal or asset records of individuals with the names of those individuals.
